Is there a lot of crime in Kep?

Answer this Question

We asked people if there is a lot of crime. They answered...

"Kep, is generally considered a safe destination for tourists and locals alike. The crime rate is relatively low compared to other regions. However, like any other place, it is not entirely free from crime. Petty crimes like pickpocketing or bag snatching can occur, especially in crowded areas. Violent crimes are rare but not unheard of. It's always advisable for visitors to take standard precautions to safeguard their belongings. Police presence is noticeable, and they are usually responsive to any reported incidents. Overall, Kep maintains a peaceful atmosphere, and instances of crime do not significantly impact the overall safety of the area," said a member in Cambodia.
