We asked expat moms who gave birth in Brazil about their experiences and advice they have for other moms to be. They said...

"Get the best health insurance you can, cause having a baby in Brazil is really expensive, especially if your pregnancy is considered risky," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Sao Paulo, Brazil.

"I chose to give birth in this hospital as it was a maternity one and they had all the facilities to take care of mom and baby. I made sure that they had ICU facilities for me and my baby if they were necessary. I was told that there is another good maternity hospital called CASA de SAO JOSE," commented one expat who made the move to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
