They may also work in the tourism industry, providing services such as tour guiding and transportation. "Offshore Insurance and Tourism. Government has a policy of actively recruiting Bermudians so any expat here must be better qualified than a local (not hard!) and there must not be a local who can do the job. Very few opportunities to move jobs once here - permit is issued for specific job for specific time frame," explained one expat living in Hamilton, Bermuda.
