Will I be able to find a job in Portugal?
When we asked people about industries and career opportunities in Portugal, they reponded...
"Job employment agencies are the best way to go for looking for work. However, most require fluency in Portuguese. If you come from the United States, the UK, or any other English-speaking country, your best bet is to look for companies from your home country that are specifically looking for English-speakers," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Lisbon, Portugal.
"Foreigners often have jobs in the hospitality, tourism and IT sectors in Portugal. They may also work as English language teachers, retail associates, software engineers and agricultural workers. Freelance work such as web development and digital marketing are also popular amongst many foreigners in Portugal," commented one expat who made the move to Portugal.
