As a foreigner living in Myanmar, will I have access to public healthcare? What is it like?
We asked expats in Myanmar if they have access to public healthcare in Myanmar. And, if they do have access, what is it like. They wrote...
"Foreigners living in Myanmar do have access to public healthcare, although the quality of care may vary. Generally, public healthcare facilities are underfunded and lack modern equipment and medicines. Additionally, the language barrier can be an issue, as many healthcare professionals may not speak English. However, there are some private hospitals and clinics that offer better quality care and services," said a member in Myanmar.
