Costa Rica Courier

I am moving to Pavones for 3 months and need to send out all my 'excess baggage' that I cannot take on the plane with me. This will probably be 3x 100cm3 boxes. Most international couriers (fedex, DHL, UPS etc, will only drop the items off in San Jose, which is 6 hours drive from Pavones! Does anyone know of a way of getting the packages closer to Pavones (perhaps Golfito, 1 hour away)?

I thought maybe I could hire a 'Costa Rican' courier to pick up the items and deliver them to Pavones/Golfito, but cannot find any information about any companies that might be able to do this :-(

Any help would be amazing!
