Where to take spanish lessons

My family and I are taking sabbatical from work and life in Canada for one year starting this September. There are three of us (including a 14 year old daughter) and we are interested in taking Spanish lessons (beginner). Preferably in the Tamarindo area. Wondering if anyone can help out with a tutor or someone to help get us started with Spanish basics. I noticed there are a few local schools that offer very expensive lessons, same cost to take them here in Toronto. Just wondering if anyone has had any success with finding a local tutor or local teacher that would can teach us.
