internet and housing in San Jose

I plan on living in Costa Rica (probably San Jose) for 1 to 3 months and was wondering if anyone had suggestions on finding a short term rental and if there are any expat clubs I could get involved in? I will be telecommuting to the USA so I'll need a decent internet connection. It might take me a while to get set up with my own internet subscription, so in the meantime, are there any coworking spaces or other places where I can temporarily get decent internet? Thanks in advance.
