ARCR (Association of Residents of
Costa Rica) has notified its membership that its Managing Director, Ryan Piercy, will be taking
a leave of absence from his post for
the foreseeable future. In a letter to
the membership, Piercy thanks everyone for their support, but acknowledges that the stress of his
kidnap experience has adversely
impacted his health and he needs time to recover and regroup. He claims that the cause of his abduction was not related to ARCR, but rather was an extortion attempt toward his role in Casa Canada. Piercy assures everyone that ARCR will continue during his absence, and folks should be confident that their Residency Applications, etc., will continue as vigorously as always. The ARCR newsletter, however, will be slightly delayed.
