Is there an expat who used to be a good plumber that we can ask a question? We discovered our water meter is running even when nothing is on and nothing is dripping.
We don't believe it is leaking like the Niagara Falls, but we want to know exactly.
As of today, we are keeping track but it is in meters not gallons which we are not positive how to compare.
First reading was 0999,76 - 20 minutes later was 0999,79. Which is 0000,03 M2 or square meters every 20 minutes.
HELP! Is this a lot? Should we get out our row boats and snorkels? Are we going to have a huge bill?
Also a question regarding water and trash billing. First we hear that it is possible to pay once a year. But our neighbors did, and then without any additional billing, the Municipality turned off their water saying they had not paid their bill. Any homeowners that know and understand the procedure?
