How to bypass 75 day rule prior to marriage?

I'm an Australian citizen & I need to know if it is possible to get around the rule that I must be in Ecuador for 75 days prior to being married to my Ecuadorian fiancé (tourist visa)? It's not convenient as only have 1 month there before I am required to leave for work commitments. I spent 3 months in Ecuador last year, can I argue my case using my past stay?
Do we have to submit all the documents in Quito/have interviews etc?
Any help would be appreciated as my local Ecuadorian embassy are very slow to respond & we wish to be married late May 2015.
