My sister lives in Vilcabamba & tells me they have really good ice cream but no Saunders hot fudge. heres the next best thing!!
4cups of sugar sifted together with organic , free trade cocoa powder (3 cups),1 QT OF WHIPPING CREAM ( 40%) & 1/2lb butter. put sugar & cocoa powder in sauce pan on low heat,add cream. stir constanly so you don't scorch it! the mixture will incorporate and get shiny & gooie. add melted buter. stir well. will keep for weeks in fridge. YUM! I must be having a mid-? life sweet crisis! Chef Jim
