Cuenca Bus Route and BnB's or hotel

Hi. I'm Chuck from Boise, age 64. I'm making a first trip to Cuenca for three weeks starting Jan 24. I noticed the light rail won't start until March. I'd like to find a place to stay that is close to a main bus route. Where can i get a bus route map. Preferably, being within a block of the bus stop would help.....not a long walker. Are there any recommendations for areas of Cuenca to stay in also? I thought a less busy outlying area plus use of the bus often would be best? Are there expat meetings or places in Cuenca? Thanks lots, Chuck in Boise. Am considering a move later.
