Places to walk dog in Riyadh

My husband has just started a job in Riyadh and he is living in Eid Compound on the outskirts. We are supposed to be joining him out there in the summer with our dog. Do you know any places where it is safe to walk the dog so he can have a run? Also any details of a pet sitter so we can have the occasional holiday? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
