Harry Potter and other books

We will be moving to KAUST soon and I'm wondering about shipping certain books. I've heard that HP is banned, but has anyone had any issues with shipping books? I prefer "real" books to e-readers, and would love to bring some of my favorites with me (HP, LoTR, etc). Thanks!
