felinefeverThe main reason the Brits are settling in Australia..is mainly due to the lower taxes..this is what is ruining Australia..they migrate to Australia and then refuse to give up their British customs...for many years Aussies have been trying to get the Union Jack out of the flag...but the British won't allow it...I say if you come to Australia..then leave Briton behind!!!!
suejacksonCan you advise what is the situation regarding UK state pension for over 60's moving to Australia? I thought there was an agreement that the pension would continue to increase to account for inflation as it does in New Zealand, now I am being told this is not the case and it will be frozen at the time of emigration.
annastafordAs far as I know (I am not a pensioner yet), you were told right, UK pensions are "frozen" ones, they are not inflation adjusted unfortunately.
