Hi to all. I will be moving to bermuda, job is located in Hamilton City. Can anyone suggest 1-2 bdrm apartments either in the city or Pembroke parish.
If I don't live in the city, I would like an easy daily comute on the ferry.
I appreciate any suggestions.

Hi Steve:
I would suggest subscribing to Emoo Bermuda which functions as a Craig's List for the island. You may alos want to subscribe to the "Royal Gazette" which also has classifieds. Check the ferry schedules for the islands' parishes. Also check the crime stats. You're a guy so you really don't have to worry about crime - but those stats may be a good thing to have in your back pocket - next to your wallet.

Skater, thanks so much for your suggestion. I have been doing some research on emoo, and will start looking at the gazette.
I really hate a long commute, so would prefer to be in Hamilton City, or from what I can tell, a ferry along the pink line.
If you happen to hear of any apt. vacancies, I would really appreciate the info.
Thanks again for taking the time to help me out.
Warm Regards,
Steve

Hi Steve
Although you should be able to find some adverts for places in and around Hamilton/Pembroke before you get here, I suggest that a better approach is to find somewhere to stay short term (six weeks or so) when you land and then, while you're here, to scout around and find something longer term.
Some other sites which may be of interest:

Good luck Phil

Hey Phil, thanks so much for the advice. I think that is a great way to go. It is a bit difficult to get a grasp of the various parishes and available places from long distance. Warm Regards,
Steve

To stay close to the city.. the parishes you should be looking at are Pembroke, Devonshire and Paget and Spanish Point(which is in pembroke)

Hey Davetecsgirl, thanks for that orientation. That greatly helps me to narrow it down when I am looking at the ads. Have a great day. Steve
