Expat advice in Puerto Vallarta

Hi,
I'm a 55-year-old gay man planning to purchase a condo in Puerto Vallarta in about two years and then retire there in 5-7 years. I'm visiting from March 12-19 and was interested in meeting some expats who might have advice for me as I figure out where to buy and what life will be like in PV.
