I've read the various messages about temporary residence but I'm confused by a few things and can't find the answers anywhere. My husband and I are from the U.S.. We are purchasing a home in Bucerias, Mx. 1) We plan on applying for temporary residence. Does anyone know if the Denver consulate is not accepting interviews at all? having trouble setting this up.
2) should we wait until the house purchase is complete to apply? will that make it an easier process?
3) we don't plan on working while in Mexico but we do plan on renting out our home in Mx for the months we are not there. Will we need a work visa as well as a residence visa for that because. it's income? if. yes, Should we apply for that at the same time as the temporary residence?
