Life in Mexico with active dogs

I have 2 border collie mixes who love exercise. It is important for us to find a place that either has ample room like a large courtyard, or a place in the countryside with a fenced/walled in area (preferred). I would love to hear from people with dogs about their experiences in Mexico...

Is it easy to find places to rent?

Are parks, trails, or areas to walk dogs common?

Does anyone know of an area where we'd more likely find a property to rent that had more land/space attached, like a farm?
