Is the cost of living in Southampton high?
We asked people how much they someone comfortably live on in Southampton, they wrote:
"Living in Southampton is considered to be quite expensive. The cost of housing is high, with both rentals and property prices being significantly more than in many other countries. Utilities such as electricity, water, and internet are also costly due to the island's remote location. Groceries and dining out can also be expensive as most food items are imported. The cost of transportation is also high, whether you're buying a car, using public transportation, or taking taxis. Healthcare is of a high standard in Bermuda, but it is also costly. Private health insurance is recommended to help cover these costs. Despite the high cost of living, many people choose to live in Southampton for its beautiful beaches, pleasant climate, and friendly community. However, it's important to be financially prepared for the high expenses associated with living in this part of Bermuda," wrote a person living in Southampton.
