Is the cost of living in Paget high?

We asked people how much they someone comfortably live on in Paget, they wrote:

"Living in Paget is considered to be quite expensive. The cost of housing is high, with both rentals and property prices being significantly higher than in many other countries. This is due to the limited land available for development, which drives up the cost of real estate. In addition to housing, the cost of groceries and dining out is also high. Most food items are imported, which adds to the cost. Similarly, utility bills such as electricity and water are also expensive due to the island's remote location and the need to desalinate seawater for drinking. Transportation costs can also be high, especially if you plan to own a car. Gasoline prices are high and there is an annual fee for car ownership. However, public transportation is available and is a more affordable option. Healthcare in Bermuda is of a high standard, but it is also costly. It is recommended to have comprehensive health insurance to cover any medical expenses. Despite the high cost of living, many people choose to live in Paget, Bermuda for its high quality of life, beautiful scenery, and pleasant climate," remarked one in Paget.
