"The cost of living in Rabac is considered to be relatively affordable compared to many other European destinations. The price of rent is quite reasonable, especially for smaller apartments or homes located a bit further from the city center or the beach. Groceries are also fairly inexpensive, with local markets offering fresh produce, meat, and dairy products at lower prices than in larger cities. Eating out at restaurants can vary, with local eateries being more affordable than high-end restaurants. Public transportation in Rabac is not as developed as in larger cities, so many residents choose to drive. The cost of gasoline is comparable to the rest of Croatia. Healthcare in Rabac is generally affordable, especially if you are covered by Croatian national health insurance. However, private healthcare can be more expensive. Overall, while Rabac is a popular tourist destination, its cost of living remains relatively low, making it an attractive place for both locals and expats," explained one expat.
