Are foreigners allowed to own property in Nha Trang?

When we asked expats what advice they would give a foreigner before buying a property in Nha Trang, they said...

"Foreigners are allowed to own property in Nha Trang, but there are certain restrictions and conditions they must meet. Foreign individuals and organizations can own a maximum of 30% of the total units in a condominium building or up to 250 houses in a single administrative area. Foreigners are granted a 50-year leasehold term, which can be extended under certain circumstances. It is important for foreigners to consult with a local real estate expert or lawyer to ensure they meet all the requirements and follow the proper procedures when purchasing property in Nha Trang," said one foreigner living in Nha Trang, Vietnam.

What appliances are typically included in a rental?

We asked foreigners in Nha Trang what appliances are typically included in a rental, and, if there is anything else included or not included that a newcomer would not expect. Replies included:

"In a rental property in Nha Trang, tenants can typically expect to find a refrigerator, stove, washing machine, and air conditioning unit. Additionally, some properties may also include a microwave, water heater, and other small appliances," explained one foreigner living in Nha Trang, Vietnam.
