"Expats in Kuala Lumpur often find the local culture to be quite different from what they are used to. One of the most challenging aspects of the local culture is the language barrier, as English is not widely spoken. Additionally, the local customs and etiquette can be difficult to navigate, as they are quite different from those of other countries. Furthermore, the local cuisine can be quite spicy and unfamiliar to those who are not used to it. Finally, the hot and humid climate can be difficult to adjust to for those who are not used to it," remarked another expat who made the move to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
