What is it like to retire in Kharkov?
We asked retirees what it is like retiring in Kharkov. They said...
")))))) Interesting , I have been ice skating, bowling, billiards, karaoke, cinema, (Ukraine language) and have walked many miles in bitter cold this winter, but enjoyed it.Have also enjoyed visits to Russian sauna's and a major indoor aqua park. Even went tobogganing on a small hill.)))) I have yet to find an expat community here but would like to," said another expat in Kharkov, Ukraine.
"Kharkov is a great place for retirees to enjoy their golden years. There is an active expat community in the city, with many retirees from other countries living in the area. There are plenty of cultural attractions to explore, such as the Kharkov Historical Museum, the Kharkov Zoo, and the Kharkov Opera and Ballet Theatre. There are also plenty of recreational activities to enjoy, such as hiking, biking, and swimming. For those looking for a bit of nightlife, there are plenty of bars, clubs, and restaurants to explore. All in all, Kharkov is a great place for retirees to enjoy their retirement," wrote a member who made the move to Kharkov, Ukraine.
