"Saltillo and its surroundings offer an active and enjoyable lifestyle for retirees. It boasts a temperate climate, making it a great place to live year-round. Retirees can spend their days visiting cultural attractions, including the city's various colonial churches, the Raramuri Cultural Center, and the nearby Conaan Zoo. There is a variety of recreational activities, such as walking in the city's many parks, kayaking in the nearby Mezquital River, and exploring nearby hiking trails. The nightlife in Saltillo is also vibrant, with a range of bars and nightclubs in the centre of town, as well as numerous restaurants offering traditional Mexican cuisine. There is also an active expat community in Saltillo, with many retirees joining local organizations and attending their events," commented one expat who made the move to Saltillo, Mexico.
