As a foreigner living in Boston, will I have access to public healthcare? What is it like?
We asked expats in Boston if they have access to public healthcare in Boston. And, if they do have access, what is it like. They wrote...
"Yes, as a foreigner living in Boston, you will have access to public healthcare. Massachusetts has a public health insurance program called MassHealth, which provides health care coverage to eligible low-income individuals and families. MassHealth covers a wide range of services, including preventive care, doctor visits, hospital stays, mental health services, and prescription drugs. MassHealth also offers a variety of programs to help people with disabilities, seniors, and children. The quality of care provided by MassHealth is generally good, and the program is designed to ensure that everyone has access to the care they need," said another in Boston, the United States.
