"Retirees in Hong Kong and its surroundings enjoy a vibrant and active lifestyle. There is a large expat community in the area, offering retirees the opportunity to socialize and make new friends. There are plenty of cultural attractions to explore, such as the Hong Kong Museum of Art, the Hong Kong Heritage Museum, and the Hong Kong Space Museum. For recreation, retirees can take advantage of the many parks and beaches in the area, as well as the numerous hiking trails. There is also a wide variety of nightlife options, from traditional Chinese restaurants to lively bars and clubs," commented one expat who made the move to Hong Kong.
