When we asked people about industries and career opportunities in Nicaragua, they reponded...

"There are no industries here except commercial fishing by the locals. There are numerous opportunities for the entrepenuer in small businesses in the tourist industry and service industry but jobs are not easy to find," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua.

"Foreigners often find employment in the hospitality and tourism industries in Nicaragua, such as in hotels, restaurants, and tour companies. Other popular jobs for foreigners include teaching English, working on organic farms, and providing professional services such as consulting, accounting, and marketing. Many foreigners are also employed in manufacturing, construction, and businesses that cater to increasing foreign investment," commented one expat who made the move to Nicaragua.
