We asked people living in Cyprus to list three things they wish they had brought and three they wish they had left behind. They responded...

"I wish I had brought lighting fixtures - the selection is Cyprus is not to my liking. There is nothing that I brought with me that I would have left home," remarked another expat in Frenaros, Cyprus.

"When moving to Cyprus, it is important to pack items that will help you adjust to the climate and culture. Pack clothing that is suitable for the warm Mediterranean climate, such as light, breathable fabrics and comfortable sandals. Bring items that will help you stay cool, such as a fan or air conditioning unit. Additionally, pack items that will help you adjust to the culture, such as books about the history and culture of Cyprus. Don't forget to bring any necessary documents, such as your passport and visa. Finally, make sure to bring any items that will make you feel at home, such as photos of family and friends," said a member in Cyprus.
