Do they charge a lot for international wire transfers? How has it been working with them from abroad? Do you use a special international wire transfer service? Do you use an online bank? If so, tell us about them.

For setting up a bank account in Escazu, Costa Rica, it is recommended to visit the nearest branch of a major bank like Scotiabank, Banco Nacional, or Banco de Costa Rica to open an account. You will need to bring proof of your identity and address, such as your passport, a copy of your driver’s license, and a copy of a recent utility bill, as well as a minimum deposit amount.
