Overstaying

Hello. I live in Panama but I married a girl from the Dominican Republic. We were married in Panama but her visa expired while my wife was visiting her family in the Dominican Republic. When we tired to renew it at the Panamanian Consulate in Santo Domingo they refused to renew it saying it was a marriage of convenience. They denied her visa several times so finally I bought her a ticket to Managua since Nicaragua does not require a visa for Dominicans, Anyway I took the bus to Managua from Panama and met her at the airport. Once in Nicaragua I found a coyote at the border with Costa Rica to smuggle her across. Then we crossed Costa Rica to the Panamanian border. Since I live near the border in Chiriqui I convinced somebody in Panamanian immigration to let her into Panama. A year and a half later I finally obtained Panamanian residency for her for being married to a Panamanian but it was expensive since she entered Panama illegally. My problem
now is if I want to visit Nicaragua with her she has an entry stamp to Nicaragua in her passport but no exit stamp and that was almost two years ago. I am okay as I entered with my Panamanian passport and have both the entrance and exit stamps. My wife's passport expires soon so if she gets a new one it would have no stamps at all from Nicaragua. But I am wondering if in Nicaragua they would have it in their computer that she entered but never left? So they would think she overstayed even though she was only in Nicaragua a few days. After two years would they still have it in their computers that she entered but didn't stamp out? We don't necessarily have to visit Nicaragua again but later on after the epidemic has died down I would like to take the bus through Central America into Mexico. And there are some interesting places in Nicaragua to visit. My wife only speaks Spanish and after 22 years in Panama I am quite fluent so the trip would be interesting for us.
