There is an active expat community in the area, with many retirees taking advantage of the low cost of living and warm climate. Cultural attractions include ancient temples, traditional markets, and beautiful beaches. Recreational activities include golf, fishing, and hiking. Nightlife in the area is vibrant, with plenty of bars, restaurants, and live music venues.
