Prices for basic necessities such as food, transportation, and housing are generally lower than in many other Caribbean countries. Eating out is also relatively inexpensive, with a meal for two at a mid-range restaurant costing around $30 USD. Utilities such as electricity and water are also relatively inexpensive," explained one expat.
