Is the cost of living in Suncheon high?

We asked people how much they someone comfortably live on in Suncheon, they wrote:

"The cost of living in Suncheon is considered to be relatively affordable compared to other major cities in South Korea. Rent for a one-bedroom apartment in the city center is moderately priced, while outside the city center, it is significantly cheaper. The cost of utilities such as electricity, heating, cooling, water, and garbage is also quite reasonable. Groceries in Suncheon are relatively inexpensive, with local markets offering fresh produce at lower prices. Eating out at an inexpensive restaurant is also quite affordable, while a three-course meal for two people at a mid-range restaurant can be a bit more expensive. Public transportation in Suncheon is quite affordable, with a one-way ticket on local transport being reasonably priced. Taxis are also available and are moderately priced. Healthcare in Suncheon is of a high standard and is relatively affordable. However, the cost can vary depending on whether you use public or private healthcare services. Overall, the cost of living in Suncheon is lower than in cities like Seoul or Busan, making it an attractive option for those looking to live in a more affordable city in South Korea," remarked one expat in Suncheon.
