As a foreigner living in Paros, will I have access to public healthcare? What is it like?

Answer this Question

We asked expats in Paros if they have access to public healthcare in Paros. And, if they do have access, what is it like. They wrote...

"As a foreigner living in Paros, you will have access to public healthcare if you are a legal resident and have registered with the Greek social security system. Public healthcare in Greece is generally of good quality, with well-trained medical professionals and modern facilities. However, the system may face challenges such as long waiting times, understaffed hospitals, and limited resources in rural areas. It is advisable to also have private health insurance to supplement the public healthcare system and ensure access to a wider range of services and shorter waiting times," remarked another expat who made the move to Paros, Greece.
