Are foreigners allowed to own property in Angeles City?

Answer this Question

When we asked expats in Angeles City if foreigners are allowed to own property, they answered...

"Yes, foreigners are allowed to own property in Angeles City. The Philippine Constitution allows foreign nationals to own real estate in the Philippines, provided that the property is acquired through a Philippine-registered corporation. Foreigners are also allowed to lease land and buildings for up to 50 years, with the option to renew for another 25 years. However, foreigners are not allowed to own land directly, and must instead purchase the land through a corporation," said a member in Angeles City, Philippines.
