What are the visa & residency requirements in Todos Santos?

Answer this Question

We asked people about the visa & residency requirements in Todos Santos, they wrote...

"To visit Todos Santos, visitors from certain countries must have a valid visa. The process of applying for a visa involves preparing the necessary documents, submitting the application and paying the visa application fee. Eligible visas include tourist, business and research visas. To establish residency in Todos Santos, Mexico, foreigners must apply for a “Forma Migratorio Múltiple” (FMM). The application process involves completing the FMM form, submitting the form in person at a local immigration office with supporting documents, and paying applicable fees. The FMM document can be used to enter Mexico multiple times with a validity period of up to 180 days. Once the FMM has been issued, a foreigner may then apply for formal residency at the Mexican government’s Institute for Mexican Nationals Abroad (IME). The IME application process involves completing an application form, submitting supporting documents and paying processing fees. If approved, the foreigner will be issued a permanent resident card, which requires renewal after every two years," explained one expat living in Todos Santos, Mexico.
