"The cost of living in the Dominican Republic is generally considered to be quite affordable. Basic necessities such as food, transportation, and housing are relatively inexpensive compared to other countries in the region. Additionally, utilities such as electricity and water are also quite affordable. Although the cost of living in the Dominican Republic is lower than in many other countries, it is important to note that wages are also lower, so it is important to budget accordingly," remarked another expat who made the move to Dominican Rep.
