The number of offences reported in England and Wales has increased in recent years, as has the severity of the punishments handed down for those found guilty. Despite the increasing cases of crime, police officers have worked hard to reduce levels of crime and are supported by neighbourhood policing teams and neighbourhood watch initiatives," explained one expat living in UK.
