Going into therapy and putting aside the time and energy to really work on yourself can be a rewarding experience. If you have been struggling with feeling sad, anxious or lost, or difficulties in relationships have been causing you distress, over time psychodynamic psychotherapy can help get to the root causes of problems, and as a result can help you feel freer and more in charge of how you deal with things. I really value the psychodynamic model, as I believe it gets to a deeper and more authentic understanding of a person's struggles than diagnostic labels or briefer modalities of therapy.
You may find that online therapy suits you, both for reasons of convenience and discreetness, but sometimes people can find it almost easier to talk through difficult things when not directly in a room with a professional.
