Topic Title: living and working in PLZEN

Plzen is a big town by Czech standards so there should be plenty of culture and social life.
Living in a place such as Plzen will give you a chance to get to know the "real" Czech Republic as opposed to Prague which is great for weekend visits.
Prices for such things as accommodation, restaurant meals etc will be considerably cheaper than in the capital city but grocery shopping will be about the same.

Try posting on www.expats.cz and mention that you would like specific info about Plzen. I'm sure there must be a few Plzen based ex-pats.
Last but not least of course you will develop a taste for Plzen's most famous product- pilsner beer! Have a great time!!!
