Karlsruhe for six months - house and car?

Hallo!

I just learned that I'll be moving to Karlsruhe next month, likely for six months.

I need to find a three bedroom place in town (near Waldstadt where the kids will go to school). And I need a car.

Any tips on locating either? Online resources for rental houses seem poor (or supply is poor perhaps). For cars I've been able to find french rentals / leases but strangely no German options (I'm thinking of a BMW or Mercedes).

Is there a local equivalent of craigslist? Immobilienscout24?
