An Expat Boyfriend - I want one please!!

Hi! I'm currently working as an English teacher to foreign students in Ayala Alabang. I'm also a lifestyle columnist.

Every morning, I walk to work and see lots of other expats walking to work, too. I would like to make a connection.

I'm a smart, open-minded girl. I've traveled and lived in the United States because of my parents' work.

I like Western culture, club music; I'm an Internet addict, MP3 addict, an introvert, loves reading and writing (I'm a writer).

After work, I unwind at nearby malls like ATC, Festival Mall, and Southmall. It's very hot in the Philippines, so I love iced drinks like the coconut shake, lots of Coke, etc. hahaha

I want a boyfriend!! I'm 28 years old. I want someone who would COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND ME. I'm a Pisces.

Sorry but I don't want a Filipino guy!! I want someone I could learn a lot from!! A WESTERN GUY!! We can get along well since my tastes and upbringing is Western!!
I need someone who could keep me company, a sensible talker -- completely understanding!! We can talk about sensible things and have lots of fun together --- unwind, de-stress each other!! :)

Help me!! This is my e-mail address: [email protected]

I'm taken, but here are just a couple of thoughts. We guys tend to be visual - you might want to post a photo. Second, many males who head to Asia are in the market for a woman who has NOT been brought up with American or European values. I was looking for, and found, a female seeking "traditional gender roles", not someone who is seeking a partner. My fiancee lowers her eyes and zips her lip if she thinks she's annoyed me, ... you?

Some Mr. Johnson, but certainly not all.

I'm guessing you wear a lot of white tank top tshirts.

DavaoDelSur1 Not me. I wear those t-shirt for evaporating sweat quickly.

RankinJohnson What you’re saying is mostly true of many Western expats. Yet a power imbalance in a relationship is not healthy. I follow Esther Perel on YouTube. I find her advice works best: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kz7SYrnSls4

DavaoDelSur It’s better to request private messages for your boyfriend hunting. My guess is no one wants to broadcast their particulars to the whole forum.

PiscesGirl. If you lived in the west, and you made a post like that, men would inundate you with offers, including me!

Out here, westerners are mostly taken and not looking.

Once a western man settles with a Pinay, there is no chance of returning to life with a western woman.

Im 52, working for a London law firm. I came here to set up a legal helpline (call center) to attract new business by offering free initial advice. When I started living here, I knew I should have done it years ago.

I like it here too much, the people, the climate, the oceans, cost of living and freedom to commute between London and Cebu.

Did you marry or do you consort with an ugly, fat woman? And did you be sure to tell her that so as to gain entry into her heart?

Now, what were you saying again?
