one bedroom apt in makati plus living expenses

Hi,I'm american and was told if I want a real girlfriend in south east asia go to the phillipines! I was told that makati is the place to live and look,what do you think?
I plan on using taxis and public transportation,plan to eat out very often at budget restaurants (not street stands) I'm not much for drinking not even beer but since I'm looking for nice women I will have some drinking expense. So for a one bedroom or large studio apt in makati how much would I pay?
How much is elect and other utilities?
Budget rest lunch/dinner how much?
I have a nice cell phone but would need to change the "chip" to make it work over there...How much is my local cell phone
service? Occational calls to usa,how much?
