Hi, I'm new to this but need to get as much info as I can. I am planning a 2 week trip in Dec. I will stay in manila for a few days then go to Cebu. I need to know where are the best areas to live. Are there places I want to stay away from. I would love to find someone there to meet when I visit to have coffee and chat. I am single and do not know anyone there. I have met many Phiippino people here in Las Vegas and find everyone so wonderful. I am very excited to move and start a new life. Please any and all info will be appreciated. I will be looking for a furnished rental. How will I be getting around? Just so many questions. I did buy Lonely planet book on the Philippines, it seems great.Any other links will be great as well. I have been searching for a few months and have found a lot of info on line but you never know if it's true so I always say go to the locals and get the right info. THANKS so much for any help!
