Buying, buying, buying. I always read these post whether it be a house, condo or property. I strongly suggest to anyone who is planning on doing something permanent to be patient. It's always "I have visited so many times...." Have you ever heard the expression a nice to visit but I wouldn't want to live there" You really should move to the Philippines for 3, 6, 9 months first before you give up everything you are leaving behind. Pay rent and see what it's like to actually live there fulltime. I can't believe how many people keep writing I'm moving to the Philippines in so many months. I want to buy... You are talking about the rest of your life. Be patient. Many people can hack it for a few weeks or months but after living in the Philippines for 6 months or a year they can't take it anymore. There are many beautiful things in the Philippines but also many things that are not so easy to put up with or adjust to. General mentality is something that is hardest to adjust to. A different way of thinking in many issues.
