Schooling in Thailand

Hi all,

My partner and i are both Australian Citizens (non-thai) looking to move to Thailand in the next couple of years as we are trying to aquire enough income before the big leap. We are still researching which areas we would actually like to reside in but have not yet narrowed this down. All we know is that we want to be near the beach. After a little research we found that Hua Hin sounds like it would have been perfect other than the fact that it is so expensive. We have done the research and will have enough to support the kind of lifestyle we are after. My main concern is that i am currently 4 months pregnant so i am trying to find out information on schooling. If possible, i would like my child to go to an english speaking school but would love to find out the difference in quality and price, between the government schools, international schools and not for profit christian/catholic schools. We do not want to pay too much if anything in school fees if at all possible. Can a foreigner go to a government school? Is there a cost for this? Location is not of HUGE imporatance, we just want to know what options we have so that our child can recieve a decent education without breaking the bank.
