here in nicaragua from managua to mountain towns areas (Matagalpa,Jinotega,Esteli) by bus for less than $4.oo.....I like the mountain quiet communities...I took bus from panama where i flew in....So i thought managua was so less populated city metro than panama as traffic was just a few hold ups and no real traffic mess like in some asian countries i was in (high population asia)..........The mountain towns arent sleppy places but there is room for everybody to make thier own pace and never far from the out back natural landscape and farms.........i got a room right away telling taxi to take me to economical hotel...So $1.20 taxi fare to a $ 8.60 a night small hotel room..it is smal with only enough room to sleep and maneuver around to its own bathroom with warm water shower and cable TV enough channels to wear my hands out on the remote buttons...no machine laundry any where,I have no job so i hand wash my clothes every morning and the rustic hotel passages are used by all to hang dry clothes...only the rooms are up dated to modern look...the same hotel offers for $5.18 a room without bathroom or TV and you could use the public shared toilet and shower.......I eat out roadside for 3 dollars to fill the belly and a drink of fruit juice and bottled water ..I tried spending $4.00 to eat roadside one night and ended up leftovers for breakfast to avoid overeating....my internet price to post this message is 50 cents an hour all in US dollar scale..........i didnt come to live the big life in resorts and so i mingle in the area with locals and few foriegners and my favorite food is rice and beans local style (its amazing how much i pay for the exotic latino food flavors in USA,and here i eat at road side stands wondering why food like this wasnt as tasty in USA at full scale restuarants for latino food costing $10.oo or more for the same.)......Wow...its nice here and i came alone knowing no one and took random taxi at managua international bus station to the local bus station and then random taxi to my hotel on the taxi drivers choice of hotel.......I have travelled in other rough and supposedley dangerous countries and i must say it is nice here and a good time with fresh not so hot mountain air...My thermometer reads now 88 degrees Farenhiet and drops to 70+ morning and night...some days the mountain peak breezes waft down to give a minute of refresh from the sun...
